On Friday, 18 September at 6:00 PM, the Basilica of Superga hosts Nuances, a concert presented as part of the Women in Music series, in collaboration with the Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo.
The programme features Maria Cometto (flute) and Francesca Troilo (harp), whose refined musical partnership explores the remarkable colours and expressive possibilities of these two instruments.
The concert includes Sonata for Flute and Harp by Nino Rota, Romance Op. 37 and Fantaisie Op. 124 by Camille Saint-Saëns, together with Cinq Nuances by Marc Berthomieu, creating a programme of elegance, lyricism and subtle musical shades.
Admission is free, subject to available seating.
The event is part of the Basilica's summer evening openings. Until midnight, visitors may freely enter the Basilica and the Chapel of the Vow. With the appropriate admission ticket, they may also visit the Museum and climb to the Panoramic Dome, enjoying spectacular night-time views over Turin.
