Inauguration of the First Phase
On 20 June 2026, the first phase of the Guesthouse at the Basilica of Superga was officially inaugurated in the presence of local institutions and representatives of the communities and organizations connected with the Turin hillside area.
In the future, additional accommodation will be created, including small en-suite rooms suitable for individuals and families.
This first phase has been made possible thanks to the work carried out by the Sermig Fraternity during its first years at the Basilica, together with the support of the Metropolitan City of Turin.
The Guesthouse of the Basilica of Superga
The Guesthouse of the Basilica of Superga welcomes small groups for spiritual, educational, sporting, cultural and environmental activities.
Schools, parishes, Scout groups, associations, hikers and pilgrims are welcome.
Three dormitory-style rooms can accommodate up to 24 guests overnight. Two shared bathroom facilities with showers are located along the corridor.
During the day, the common hall and the garden can host groups of up to 40 people.
Guest stays are intended to be short. The aim is not simply to provide accommodation, but also to encourage interaction with the Sermig Fraternity living at the Basilica, creating opportunities for sharing, service and prayer alongside each group's own activities, in harmony with the sacred and historic character of the Basilica.
Groups have access to a self-catering kitchen.
The Guesthouse has an independent vehicle-accessible entrance on the south side of the Basilica, beneath the right-hand bell tower at piazza level.
