
New direct connection between downtown Turin and the Basilica of Superga
Starting on Sunday 17 May 2026, GTT will launch the new experimental “Superga Express” service, designed to improve connections between downtown Turin and the Basilica of Superga on holidays.
The line will operate only on Sundays and public holidays for an experimental period of 6 months.
The service directly connects Piazza Vittorio Veneto with the square in front of the Basilica of Superga, offering a convenient and sustainable way to reach Turin’s hill district.

Timetable
Services are scheduled according to the Basilica opening hours.
First departure from Piazza Vittorio Veneto: 9:30 am
First departure from Superga: 10:20 am
Last departure from Piazza Vittorio Veneto: 7:30 pm
Last departure from Superga: 8:20 pm
Buses run approximately every 40 minutes.
With the activation of the “Superga Express” line, the holiday 79/ line service will be temporarily suspended.
